Non-refundable Donation to the National Development Fund
A contribution to the National Development Fund of a minimum non-refundable amount of:
- USD 100,000 for a family of up to four, or
- USD 125,000 for a family of five
Real Estate Investment
Purchase of real estate with a minimum value of:
- USD 200,000 from an approved real estate project. In order to qualify, an applicant can either make a sole purchase of this value or enter into a joint investment where each applicant invests a minimum of USD 200,000. The real estate cannot be disposed of within the five-year period
Business Investment
The direct purchase of an eligible business for a minimum amount of USD 1.5 million as an individual.
Alternatively, a joint purchase where each person contributes at least USD 400,000, totalling a minimum of USD 5 million.
Contribution to the University of the West Indies
A minimum non-refundable amount of USD 150,000 for a family of six (and USD 15,000 for each additional family member.)
Processing Government Fees
- USD 30,000 government processing fee per main applicant of a family of four (except the donation to UWI).
- USD 7,500 due-diligence fee per main applicant and spouse.
- USD 2,500 per dependent aged 12 to 17 and USD 4,000 for dependents above the age of 18.
THE PROCESS
STAGE 1:
- Initial compliance background checks by Acumum
- Application is drafted for submission
- Main applicant must be over the age of 18 and have a clean criminal record.
- Dependent children up to the age of 28 and parents & grandparents over the age of 58
STAGE 2:
- Acumum will assist with collating the documents and you will be guided through what documents are necessary
- Documents and compliance checks will be undertaken by the Government of Antigua and Barbuda
STAGE 3:
- Application submitted via an authorised agent on the ground
- Documents and compliance checks will be undertaken by the Government of Antigua and Barbuda
STAGE 4:
- If the application is approved, the Government will issue a letter advising you of the outcome (4 weeks)
STAGE 5:
- Complete your investment option
STAGE 6:
- Upon completion of the investment, you will receive your citizenship certificate and passport. You will be required to stay in the country for at least 5 days per year, and you do not have to be in the country to receive your passport; it will be sent via courier
