Acumum, Malta’s first international law firm, welcomes new partner Geraldine Spiteri as Head of the Aviation and Marine Department

Malta, 5 July 2014 – Acumum, Malta’s first international law firm, welcomes Geraldine Spiteri to the Partnership. Spiteri brings her expertise and experience to the firm’s Aviation and Marine Department as the Department Head.

Spiteri was admitted to practice law in Malta in 2002. As a specialist in International Maritime Law, Spiteri is the ideal Partner to head this Acumum legal department. She is trained in EU, transport, competition (anti-trust), and electronics communications laws, as well.

Spiteri is a member of the Chamber of Advocates and lectures on maritime legislation and communications as part of the MCAST Maritime Institute and also acts as a part time judicial assistant at the Courts of Justice, Malta.

Spiteri also holds a Diploma in Matrimonial Jurisprudence from the Archdiocese of Malta, showing her diversity, being able to move from international law to Canonical Law.
